Griffin “Flush Entity” Benger is most well known for his incredible success in online poker. Hours and hours of grinding have paid off for him and in no small way by any means, made evident by the millions and millions of dollars he has piled up over the years. Benger’s first experience of international travel and high-level competition in professional gaming was as a top-ranked Counter-Strike player under the alias “shaGuar.”
“When I first started playing video games, I was kind of a Duck Hunt, Mario kid back then”, he reveals. Later, with the advent of Golden Eye, Griffin started getting even more into video games. However, he wasn’t just into video games like many people are; he was into absolutely crushing them by constantly improving his skills. When a friend of his told him that “Counter-Strike” had come out, saying that it was “like Golden Eye on crack”, Benger was immediately interested and he soon started dedicating substantial amounts of his time to honing his skills. Benger’s ultra-competitive nature and dedication to achieving his goals led him to become one of the best Counter-Strike players in the world.
Therefore the move from computer-based Counter-Strike to the computer-based online poker was not such a big leap. What was a big leap though were the huge amounts of money which would end up in his bank account as a result of the switch. Griffin admits to never being 100% satisfied with his level of play, saying that the learning aspect in poker is one of the things which excite him the most, due mainly to the fact that you never ever stop learning.
Born on April the 28th, Griffin is from Toronto, Canada and is the son of Canadian actress Nicky Guadagni. After high school, he earned himself a degree in sports broadcasting, staying true to his limitless passion for games and sports. He is also huge hockey fan and used to play 5 times a week.
Benger has amassed just shy of $4,000,000 in online cashes, with 107 first place finishes. It is clear that Griffin’s statistics are the envy of countless poker players worldwide.
